Fun and Fellowship

Club life consists of different elements. For one, Table members meet to tour companies and to visit exhibits and museums or to just have dinner and nice talks. The highlight of a meeting is usually a presentation by a guest speaker or one the Tablers and a possibility to discuss the topic afterwards over dinner. These meetings promote trust and friendship among members. Outside the club life the individual Tables there is a great number of meetings and events on a regional, national or international level where people from different countries and cultures can meet and get to know each other. Neighboring clubs work together and Tables organize weekend-events to which they invite their national and international fellow members. Tables have partner clubs all over Europe and overseas. These tables meet once a year for the so-called “Euro-Meeting”. A member favorite are “mass-tours”, which are tours of a country organized by the Tables of that country and open to all Tablers worldwide.

The leisure activities are as diverse as the members of the Round Table. The posibilities range from traditional events like sailing, golf tournaments, ski-weekends or family picnics to social events and joint outings with other tables. No matter what we, we intend to have fun doing it!

International Friendship

Round Table Basel is a member of Round Table Switzerland, which in turn is a member of Round Table International (RTI) and the World Council of Service Clubs (WOCO). This enables members to establish and maintain an international network.
